Port Charles is adding a fresh face to its younger lineup. The latest General Hospital casting news confirms that actress Kayden Brenna Tokarski has signed on to join the ABC daytime soap. Fans spotted her in a recent behind-the-scenes video celebrating the show’s 16,000th episode, and the casting is officially a go.
Prime-Time Talent Moves to Daytime
Tokarski comes to daytime television with a strong acting background. Viewers will likely recognize her from the Starz series Gaslit, where she played a younger version of Julia Roberts’ character. She also has a heavy footprint in television thrillers, starring in projects like My Professor’s Deadly Secret and Killer in the Woods.
Outside of Hollywood, Tokarski has a background as an athlete. She reached Junior Olympian status as a competitive diver before turning her full attention to television acting.
Mystery Surrounds Her Summer Debut
The writers are keeping her character’s name and family ties a total secret for now. However, she already filmed her first scenes, and her character will land on the canvas later this summer.
Because the current Port Charles teen and young adult scene is wide open, she will likely shake up the high school or college crowd. Viewers can expect her debut in the coming weeks to bring fresh energy and a brand-new storyline to the show.
